Maplecrest Group Inc. (MGI) was established in April 2013 for the purpose of investing in enterprises that create lasting value by uplifting the life of the common man. Through its subsidiaries, MGI is engaged in the business of property and township development, strategic landbanking, real estate sales and marketing, end-user financing, insurance brokerage, public utilities, and technology-based solutions development and services.

OUR LEADERSHIP

GUILLERMO C. CHOA

Chairman

Mr. Guillermo Choa serves as Chairman of MGI and its subsidiary, Property Company of Friends, Inc. A seasoned real estate developer, he was also President of CONFED Properties, Inc. and was previously affiliated with Six Alps Corporation, Grandeur Realty Specialists, Inc., Gold Palm Properties, Inc., and Carnation Realty and Development Corporation. He is also a former Director of Regent Pearl Homes, Inc., Treasurer of Multi-Dealers, Inc., and Vice-President of Tri-B Construction and Industrial Products, Inc. Mr. Choa also served as President of the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association and Director of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Association. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific and Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Major in Marketing from De La Salle University. He likewise completed the Advanced Management Program of the IESE Business School in partnership with the University of Asia and the Pacific.

ERLASTER C. SOTTO

President

Erlaster C. Sotto is the President of Maplecrest Group Inc. and its subsidiary, Maplecrest Financing Corporation. Prior to joining the group in 2014, he held key positions in the areas of investment banking and corporate finance at the former PCIBank which later became Equitable PCI Bank and now BDO Bank. He became the President of PCI Capital Corporation, PCIB Securities, BDO Securities Corporation and the Chief Operations Officer of BDO Capital Corporation. He also previously held various positions as President of the Investment House Association of the Philippines and member of the Board of Directors of Maxicare Healthcare Corporation, Armstrong Securities and Securities Clearing Corporation of the Philippines and member of the Board of Trustees of PSE Foundation, Inc. He currently serves as the Independent Governor of the Market Governance Board and the Chairman of the Dealers Committee of the Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corporation and a member of the Board of Trustees of the PDS Academy for Market Development, Inc.
